Mitchall Mines & Minerals Ltd. is committed to building a strong and sustainable presence in South America through focused gold exploration in Ecuador’s mineral-rich provinces. With two active operations in Morona-Santiago and ongoing exploration across the broader Andean belt, our South American strategy is centered on long-term value creation, community partnership, and low-impact discovery.

South America represents one of the world’s most underexplored and geologically favourable regions for precious metals, and Mitchall Mines is at the forefront of responsible mineral development in Ecuador. Our exploration programs target high-grade, epithermal and porphyry-hosted gold systems, with growing technical and social infrastructure supporting near- and long-term resource expansion.

Core Exploration Regions

Morona-Santiago (Ecuador)

The province is home to our two active operations—Arapiccos and Mera—which also serve as hubs for ongoing exploration. In Arapiccos, step-out drilling and geophysical surveys have identified multiple high-priority zones surrounding the existing open pit. Results to date indicate strong continuity and significant resource upside within a 5 km radius.

Cordillera del Cóndor (Ecuador)

Mitchall Mines has initiated reconnaissance exploration within a broader zone of the Cordillera del Cóndor range, known for its world-class mineral potential. Our geological teams are engaged in early-stage fieldwork, supported by strategic partnerships with local communities and regional authorities. These early campaigns will inform long-term development plans as infrastructure and permitting pathways evolve.

Exploration Strategy

Our exploration in South America is underpinned by a clear mandate: to discover and define high-quality, long-life gold resources while maintaining strong environmental and social integrity. We operate under Ecuador’s evolving regulatory framework with a strong emphasis on early community consultation, Indigenous inclusion, and transparent environmental stewardship.

Future U.S. Prospects (In Review)

Mitchall Mines is actively assessing entry points into select jurisdictions in the western United States. Initial evaluations have focused on stable, mining-friendly states with existing infrastructure and favourable permitting frameworks. Due diligence is underway on projects in Nevada and Idaho.

Highlights & Recent Developments

2024: Completed over 22,000 meters of combined drilling at Arapiccos and Mera with multiple zones returning +2.5 g/t Au over multi-meter intercepts.

2023–2025: Committed $25 million to South American exploration and CSR-linked expansion programs.

Ongoing: Environmental baseline studies completed for three greenfield areas, enabling accelerated permitting.

Looking Ahead

Our South American exploration efforts are focused not only on near-mine expansion but also on unlocking new regional opportunities that will drive long-term production. With a world-class exploration team, a maturing local footprint, and deep community roots, Mitchall Mines & Minerals Ltd. is poised to lead the next generation of sustainable gold discovery in Ecuador and beyond.
